For most of my life, I have also worked as a public speaker in all kinds of spaces. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to: writing, global development and policy, foster care and adoption, parenting, and military life. I have a background in nonprofit fundraising, so I especially love combining my storytelling skills with a good cause.

A teacher by trade, I also love doing school visits for kids (and adults!) of all ages. I would be thrilled to join you in your classroom to inspire future writers to go for it!
